For efficient mixing of polymer solution into sewage sludge



INDAG Sewage Sludge Mixers type DLM/KA are used for effective mixing of polymer solution into sewage sludge. The aim is a more efficient sludge dewatering than for example with comb filter presses or belt presses. This is achieved by creating a large stable floc in the sewage sludge. The use of a dynamic inline mixer is always suitable for this purpose if the dewatering machine does not operate dynamically but rather statically. The mixing volume in the long axial mixer housing is sufficiently large to ensure a sufficiently long dwell time and therefore mixing time.

Technology of DLM/KA

INDAG mixer type DLM/KA has shark fin form mixing elements on rotor and no mixing elements in stator (mixer casing). This geometry allows effective introduction of mixing energy and prevents blockages. Rotor of mixer is supported by drive shaft of motor. INDAG DLM/KA is equipped with a double acting mechanical seal. Mixer is available in two pressure ratings. Execution 6bar for pressure loss belt filter press and 16bar for filter press.
